Generate or update the docs.json navigation configuration based on the folder structure:
node generate-navigation.mjs--docs <path>: Path todocs.json(default:docs.json)--content-root <path>: Content root directory (default: current directory)--languages <list>: Comma-separated languages (e.g.en,zh-Hans)--dry-run: Print result without writingdocs.json--update-titles: Update English MDX titles from mapping or filename
# Specify docs.json and content root
node generate-navigation.mjs --docs ./docs.json --content-root .
# Only build navigation for en and zh-Hans
node generate-navigation.mjs --languages en,zh-Hans
# Preview result without writing
node generate-navigation.mjs --dry-run
# Update English titles while generating navigation
node generate-navigation.mjs --update-titlesPages with sidebar_hidden: true in frontmatter are kept as routable documents but skipped when generating docs.json. Use this for deprecated compatibility pages or pages placed manually in a different navigation tab, such as the standalone SDK guide.
Run the documentation site locally using Docker:
docker build -t xpert-ai/docs . \
&& docker run --rm -p 3000:3000 xpert-ai/docsmint dev
Legacy AI/v1 OpenAPI integration is deprecated and no longer maintained; availability and compatibility are not guaranteed. The historical OpenAPI reference is also unmaintained. This does not deprecate the current assistants, threads, runs, context-upload or ChatKit-session endpoints. New integrations should use @xpert-ai/xpert-sdk, as documented in en/ai/agent/development-api.mdx and zh-Hans/ai/agent/development-api.mdx.
The historical English specification remains in api/openapi.ai.json. Only legacy AI/v1 operations carry deprecated: true; the ChatKit session endpoint is excluded because it remains part of UI integration. All pages carry a reference-maintenance notice linking to the SDK guide. The Chinese navigation uses the generated api/openapi.ai.zh-Hans.json; the shared notice, agent chat details, schemas and file-upload migration details are localized. Other historical endpoint details retain their source descriptions.
After updating the source specification, update api/agent-chat.zh-Hans.translations.json for any changed localized descriptions and regenerate:
node scripts/generate-openapi-zh.mjs
node scripts/generate-openapi-zh.mjs --checkDo not edit the generated specification directly. The generator preserves the published Chinese agent chat URL and fails when translations are missing or stale.
Run the dependency-free metadata and local-link check before publishing the Chinese Data Xpert documentation:
node scripts/check-data-docs.mjsThe check fails when a page under zh-Hans/data lacks a title or description, or when a relative Markdown/MDX link or local image cannot be resolved. External URLs are intentionally skipped.
The SDK tab also contains current HTTP reference pages for the guide's agent, thread, run, attachment and Store examples. These use api/openapi.sdk.json, independently of the historical OpenAPI reference. Each operation includes its corresponding SDK method, stable page URL, request parameters and response examples.
The English specification is the contract source. When updating it, verify the corresponding controllers and handlers in xpert-develop/packages/server-ai/src/ai and wire fields in xpert-sdk-js/packages/core/src/client.ts. Do not copy SDK options that the server ignores into the supported request fields. Keep the different start, wait and reconnect behaviors explicit. The initial reference covers the 18 operations used in the SDK guide, not the entire SDK surface.
Update api/sdk.zh-Hans.translations.json, then generate and check the Chinese reference:
node scripts/generate-sdk-openapi-zh.mjs
node scripts/generate-sdk-openapi-zh.mjs --check
node --test scripts/test-sdk-openapi.mjs scripts/test-navigation.mjsDo not edit api/openapi.sdk.zh-Hans.json directly. The localization generator preserves endpoint paths, schemas and examples. Navigation uses Mintlify OpenAPI groups to render the method badges, parameter reference, generated code samples and API playground. A successful documentation render does not verify live API execution.
AI → Live Dashboard (实时看板) is a separate tab after Projects & Tasks, mirrored
in en and zh-Hans. Its six task-oriented pages live under
{language}/ai/live-dashboard/:
| Route suffix | User task |
|---|---|
index |
Understand live dashboards, drafts and versioned definitions |
create |
Describe a business request, open the card and verify the result |
edit |
Continue editing the same dashboard and confirm publication |
data-sources |
Choose supported sources, files and refresh behavior |
sharing |
Share a formal version and use the floating standalone toolbar |
troubleshooting |
Resolve save, chart, filter, version and access problems |
The AI overview at {language}/ai/getting-started/index is the first page under
Getting Started and features a Live Dashboard entry. Keep the general Artifact
overview under AI → Agent → Artifacts, and cross-link to the dashboard section
from conversation, data source and ontology Workbench guides.
Keep this order in navigation-order-tree.json as well as docs.json, and keep
the tab's bilingual labels in display-name-overrides.json, so navigation
regeneration retains the reading flow. The 12 previous
/{language}/ai/agent/artifacts/dashboard-* routes redirect to their new pages
through docs.json's redirects array; preserve these mappings when reorganizing
navigation. Internal links should point directly to the new routes.
The pages describe existing functionality;
they do not schedule feature development or promise general public-package availability.
Internal architecture, contracts and verification limits belong in the Xpert source
repository's docs/{language}/guides/artifacts-dashboard/ feature documentation.
When updating these pages, distinguish saved definitions from data snapshots, page timers from background subscriptions, draft revisions from formal versions, and team read-only sharing from private Workspace script dependencies. Keep commands, local accounts, test receipts and release checklists out of the product workflow.
AI → Bosi App is a standalone tab immediately after Getting Started, mirrored
in English and Simplified Chinese. Each {language}/ai/bosi/ tree has eight pages:
| Route suffix | Product topic |
|---|---|
index |
Product positioning, desktop experience and the platform relationship |
quickstart |
Installation, organization selection, personal Bosi onboarding and a first task |
daily-work/assistants-and-apps |
Experts, apps, plugin selection and service authorization |
daily-work/projects-and-groups |
Project context, group collaboration, tasks and recurring work |
daily-work/conversations-and-workbench |
Conversation, optional realtime voice, business views and delivery |
daily-work/computers-and-coding |
Local Shell, server sandbox and cloud computer boundaries |
desktop-guide/personalization-and-settings |
Local preferences, public appearance, shared settings and updates |
desktop-guide/troubleshooting |
Connection, onboarding, permission, execution and delivery problems |
Keep labels and order in display-name-overrides.json and
navigation-order-tree.json aligned with docs.json. Existing Bosi tutorials
retain their routes and practical walkthroughs, linking to these product pages.
The AI overview links to the new tab. Do not replace unrelated curated navigation
with the complete directory-generated output.
Research on 2026-10-17/18 used the local Xpert source checkout:
apps/desktop/README.md,docs/bosi-desktop-onboarding.md,apps/desktop/docs/desktop-shell.mdanddocs/realtime-voice.md.apps/desktop/src/bosi/,CatalogDialog.tsx,groups/DesktopAddMenu.tsx,ChatPanel.tsx,voice/VoiceProvider.tsxandfiles/DeliveredFile.tsx.apps/desktop/src/settings/sections.ts,assistant-settings/,avatar/,packages/server-ai/src/assistant-binding/bosi/and the related capability contracts.- Existing bilingual
bosi-desktop-user-guideanddevelop-with-bositutorials, checked against current source where behavior has evolved.
Treat Bosi App, the personal Bosi Assistant and the Xpert service as distinct concepts. Keep local list preferences separate from public appearance and published Assistant configuration. Document local Shell as a native macOS preview and cloud computer as a deployment-dependent Pro capability. Onboarding illustrations are previews, queued work is not completion, and ending a voice call or desktop takeover does not cancel accepted background work. Feature documentation and source checks do not establish availability in a particular installed release or live environment.
AI → Plugin Apps / 插件应用 is a standalone product tab immediately after
Bosi App, mirrored in English and Simplified Chinese. Its routes use
{language}/ai/applications/; the existing projects/plugin-apps/ group remains
the project integration topic, and ai/plugin/ remains the developer reference.
| Route suffix | Product topic |
|---|---|
index |
App positioning, business value and relationship to Bosi, plugins and templates |
quickstart |
A first business task, from inputs through review and delivery |
catalog |
Official application documentation directory and related product sections |

Discovery, configuration, access, execution and result problems |
Add one directory per product at {language}/ai/applications/{app-slug}/, using a
stable product slug and matching English and Chinese paths. Each application gets
its own navigation group after the shared guide. Start with a concise index.mdx
covering the product and its first-use workflow. Add a dedicated quickstart or
detailed workflow pages only when the product needs them. Do not publish empty
product groups or invented app entries to reserve future navigation.
The product introduction should identify intended users, the problem, inputs, outputs and supported scope. The quickstart should show a real first result with concrete inputs and review criteria. Use actual UI labels and verified screenshots; describe app-specific project types, task states, confirmation steps, exports and failure recovery where implemented. Link shared initialization, authorization and project concepts to these common guides rather than duplicating their contracts.
Add the product link and any dedicated quickstart to catalog.mdx in both
languages when the guide is ready. Bid Studio, Code Review, Maps and Sites each
have a single product article.
Related Bosi, Ontology apps and Live Dashboard links retain their existing sections.
Keep documentation coverage separate from deployment availability.
Update navigation-order-tree.json, display-name-overrides.json and docs.json
together. Preview the navigation generator and apply only the affected tab, preserving
other curated navigation and redirects. Validate bilingual path parity, local links,
navigation tests and the Mintlify build. The AI overview, Bosi app guide, discovery,
plugin overview and project integration pages link to this product section.
Research on 2026-10-18 used the local Xpert checkout, in particular:
packages/server-ai/src/plugin-resource/plugin-application.service.ts,plugin-application.controller.tsandplugin-application-composition.ts.docs/zh-Hans/guides/application-toolsets.mdxandproject-application-types.mdx.apps/desktop/src/CatalogDialog.tsx,apps/desktop/src/catalog/andapps/cloud/src/app/features/explore/app-detail/.- Existing product references for application configuration, Assistant authorization, ChatKit project selection, Artifacts and plugin project/task integration.
Document organization-scoped initialization, private authoring workspaces and user group runtime grants separately. Tool provider installation, saved tool configuration, resource readiness, business execution and acceptance are different states. Repair does not upgrade existing templates or migrate business data. Project tasks, views, exports and multi-role behavior depend on each app. Source inspection does not verify availability in a deployed environment.
{language}/ai/applications/bid-studio/index.mdx is a single product article per
language, in the Bid Studio / 标书应用 · Bid Studio group after the common app
guide. Keep core capabilities, first use, company assets, supporting tools, project
tasks and delivery checks together; do not split them into separate pages.
Research on 2026-10-18 used the adjacent apps/bid checkout: its current README,
src/index.ts, assistant-suite.json, workflow documentation under docs/,
project providers under src/lib/project/, the bid-home and supporting Views,
and the export and delivery services. Older design documents were cross-checked
against implemented behavior.
Preserve confirmed project creation, explicit bidder selection, chapter-level writing with continued revision, independent commercial review and evidence checks. Available-content export can warn about missing chapters; file delivery does not complete submission. Keep internal task/version mechanics and UI scaffolds out of product instructions. Site validation does not certify a live bid workflow or availability in a particular deployment.
Each app uses one mirrored {language}/ai/applications/{app-slug}/index.mdx
article and a separate group under Plugin Apps. Keep product workflows concise;
link shared enablement and permissions rather than duplicating setup internals.
Research on 2026-10-18 used xpert-plugins/xpertai/apps/:
| App | Source references | Product distinctions |
|---|---|---|
code-review |
README, docs/index.mdx, docs/automation.mdx, review and automation services, Assistant template and workbench |
Private manual drafts; confirmed manual decisions; repository automation trials and draft/comment delivery; stale commits, incomplete coverage and uncertain publication |
maps |
README, setup docs, live/demo templates, provider contracts and shared map UI | Authorized AMap/Tencent services; place search, details, walking/driving and draft references; explicit simulation; no location tracking or saved itinerary |
sites |
Bilingual READMEs, app config, version/deployment service, bundler and workbench | Static content; saved versions versus publication; restore as new draft; governed Artifact links; no backend, network APIs or persistent browser state |
App covers are copied unchanged from each plugin's declared marketplace screenshot
into public/img/ai/applications/ and shared by the Chinese and English articles.
Code Review and Maps use illustrative interface covers; Sites uses its branding
cover. Keep these distinct from actual product screenshots.
These are source-verified product descriptions, not live deployment acceptance. Do not imply universal project/task integration across the three apps, test execution by Code Review, real navigation from Maps demo data, or backend hosting from Sites. Keep the catalog, overview and bilingual navigation aligned.
AI → Projects & Tasks (项目与任务) is a separate tab immediately after Agent.
The 16 pages under each {language}/ai/projects/ tree cover the overview,
quickstart, project types, Assistants and context, members, files, planning,
task views, execution and acceptance, group collaboration, plugin app integration,
schedules and troubleshooting.
Keep the English and Chinese paths and navigation order aligned.
The Plugin App Integration / 插件应用集成 group under plugin-apps/ contains
four pages: index (product experience and the bid application example),
business-tasks (source ownership, task and execution synchronization),
shared-context (project resources and permissions), and sdk-integration
(capability map, integration sequence and verification). Keep business workflows
in the product pages and SDK field details in the integration guide. Cross-links
from project types, task views, acceptance, application configuration and SDK
runtime capabilities make both the user and developer entry paths discoverable.
The old /{language}/ai/agent/conversation/projects routes redirect to the new
overview. Preserve these redirects; internal links should use the new routes.
The AI overview, Bosi tutorial and ChatKit project-selector guide link to this section.
Navigation is defined in docs.json, navigation-order-tree.json and
display-name-overrides.json. Preview generation before applying it: existing
manual navigation elsewhere in the site can differ from the directory-derived output.
The initial research on 2026-10-17 used the local xpert source checkout and its
Plugin SDK documentation. For subsequent updates, cross-check these sources:
| Product topic | Source in the Xpert repository |
|---|---|
| Task and group workflows | docs/zh-Hans/guides/project-tasks.mdx, group-project-tasks.mdx and their English counterparts |
| Project types and first-send creation | docs/zh-Hans/guides/project-application-types.mdx, docs/conversation-project-bootstrap.md, services/project-type.service.ts and services/conversation-project.service.ts under packages/server-ai/src/xpert-project/ |
| Visible Cloud actions | apps/cloud/src/app/features/project/: routes, creation, plans, files, configuration and membership dialogs |
| Authorization and governed content | packages/server-ai/src/xpert-project/services/: access, membership, content and workspace-file services |
| Dispatch, acceptance and shared task UI | packages/server-ai/src/xpert-project/runtime/, plugins/project-tasks/README.md, views/project-tasks.provider.ts, remote-components/project-tasks/ |
| Execution viewer and schedules | packages/server-ai/src/agent-invocation/remote-components/coding-execution/README.md, packages/server-ai/src/xpert-task/xpert-task.service.ts |
| SDK boundaries | packages/plugin-sdk/docs/README.md (task types), en/RESOURCE-CARDS.md, en/view-extension-protocol.md, en/runtime-capabilities.md and workspace-file-tools.md |
| Plugin project and task contracts | packages/plugin-sdk/src/lib/project-task/index.ts, project-type/index.ts and runtime/capabilities/project-{access,provisioning}.ts |
| Task source ownership and synchronization | packages/server-ai/src/xpert-project/services/project-task-ownership.ts, project-task-graph.service.ts, task-projection/ and plugins/project-tasks/README.md |
The bid example was also checked against the adjacent apps/bid source:
src/lib/project/task-management/bid-project-tasks.provider.ts,
bid-project-task-sync.service.ts, src/lib/project/bid-project-type.provider.ts
and src/lib/application/bid-project-tasks.tool.ts. Its older implementation notes
describe write-on-read synchronization; current source uses an explicit queued
refresh() after business commits. Preserve that distinction: graph() reads
saved facts, queued is not synchronized, and opening or refreshing a view never
starts work. A failed enqueue requires another synchronization request; reading
the view is not a substitute. These contracts were checked in the current source
checkout, including ongoing development, and do not assert deployed availability.
Architecture proposals under docs/zh-Hans/solutions/ include planned features
and older UI inventories; confirm capabilities against current implementation.
Keep product instructions distinct from SDK contracts and deployment procedures.
In particular, preserve the distinctions between planning and dispatch, successful
execution and acceptance, working files and committed deliverables, group membership
and Project authorization, and scheduled runs and business tasks. Source inspection
and documentation builds do not establish deployed availability or live execution.
