Summary

Mainline docs merges have Cloudflare build checks but no GitHub production deployment history. This adds a Production record for every push to main, and reports success only when the public site returns that commit and Cloudflare build ID.

Resolution

The tracking workflow observes the existing Cloudflare Git integration. It does not deploy code and needs no additional Cloudflare credentials. A Docusaurus post-build plugin writes deployment.json from Cloudflare's build environment, so a successful build check alone cannot mark an older public site as live.

Reviewer considerations

• Tracking uses the existing Production environment and a GitHub token with checks-read and deployments-write permissions.
• Public verification must match the commit SHA, build ID, and main branch. Blocked requests, stale content, and missing metadata leave the deployment unverified.
• The workflow waits up to 25 minutes for Cloudflare and another five minutes for public verification. Cancellation records an interrupted tracking state when its cleanup step can run.
• A rerun creates another tracking record without rebuilding or redeploying. An older commit can remain unverified if a newer deployment replaces it before verification.
• Search indexing remains a separate status. Production activation and public verification require the first run after merge.

Implementation

• Add a workflow with queued, building, public-verification, and terminal deployment statuses, with links to GitHub tracking logs and Cloudflare builds.
• Publish build metadata for the default locale and give the endpoint a no-store cache policy.
• Document where to view deployment history and how to repeat verification.

Verification

• All 19 targeted Node tests passed, including build failure/cancellation/skip, wrong app or commit, retry selection, stale build identity, blocked public requests, propagation delay, and metadata generation.
• Actionlint, Prettier, and git diff --check passed.
• Remark passed for the new README section. The existing README is excluded from repository Remark checks and contains pre-existing HTML that the MDX parser rejects when forced.
• Docusaurus configuration loaded with the plugin registered, using the checkout's node_modules on NODE_PATH for the glossary plugin's dependency resolution.
• No full site build ran, per AGENTS.md. Live Cloudflare rollout is not yet proven.
