Brings the Disaster Recovery section up to the current state of dr-simplyblock main and the operator's DR pieces.

What changed

  • New: Control Center (disaster-recovery/control-center.md): full mode deployed by the Simplyblock Operator chart (controlCenter.*), DR-only mode by the DR hub chart (console.*), the service-account caveat, and a screen-by-screen map to the resources. Deploying a managed site's storage from the hub (StorageSiteDeployment) and StorageClass delivery are marked Coming soon: they are being implemented now.
  • New: Restart after a storage recovery (operations/restart.md): Restart recovery actions, automatic per plan (autoRestart, stableFor).
  • Configuration: per-site S3 stores and Velero namespace on plans, test settings on paths (isolatedNad, quotas.maxCloneCapacity, recentWithin), tiers and probes on applications, the site mapper (SiteProfile bindings, DHCPServers, findings, reservations, renderings).
  • Replication: how an async volume moves. The chain behind the PV's handle is followed to its end with no hop limit (fixed 2026-10-03, operator PR #618). Demote acts on the local member, promote and resync on the active end. Every site's CSI driver lists both storage clusters, with its own marked local. Automatic cross-registration is marked Coming soon (operator PR #619).
  • Test fail-over: clones come from the operator's TestFailover with the source's volume mode and filesystem. Cross-namespace NADs are rewritten into the bubble. New checks clones-bound, teardown-clean, invariants-held. Sync applications are covered.
  • Monitoring, unplanned fail-over, backup/restore, architecture concepts and DR requirements are updated to match.

Depends on

The chain-resolution and local-cluster behavior is in operator PR #618, and the full-mode console chart values are on the feature/control-center-ui line (PR #512). Both are unmerged; the pages say where something is not yet in a released chart.

Checks

scripts/quality-gate.sh passes locally except the openapi.json link in reference/api/index.md, which CI generates before it checks. Field and check names were verified against the dr-simplyblock Go types.

New page on the console: full mode deployed by the Simplyblock Operator chart
(controlCenter.*), DR-only mode by the DR hub chart (console.*), the
service-account caveat, and what each screen creates. Deploying a managed
site's storage from the hub and the StorageClass delivery are marked as
coming soon.

…s built

Per-site S3 stores and the Velero namespace on plans, test settings on paths,
tiers and probes on applications, the site mapper (SiteProfile bindings,
DHCPServers, findings, reservations, renderings), and how an async volume
moves: the chain behind the PV's handle is followed to its end without a hop
limit, demote acts on the local member, promote and resync on the active end,
and every site's CSI driver lists both storage clusters with its own local.

Test fail-over clones come from the operator's TestFailover on the hub, with
the source's volume mode and filesystem; cross-namespace NADs are rewritten
into the bubble; new checks clones-bound, teardown-clean, invariants-held;
sync applications. New page on restarting applications after a storage
suspension; monitoring, unplanned fail-over and backup pages updated.

sbcli now selects the FoundationDB API version at import time
(fdb.api_version in models/lock/store.py). The image's PyPI "fdb" is a
Firebird driver without it, so every build since sbcli's change failed
before rendering a page. The schema needs the API importable, not a
database: a stub module stands in for the binding.
