Summary

• hold each bounded standalone star batch under one replica lock
• append one binary page outcome per accepted write and sync the journal once before reply
• durably preserve an accepted prefix when a later conditional write is refused

Write amplification

At the maximum eight-page batch width, each standalone chunk member now performs one journal durability sync instead of eight. The binary recovery outcomes remain independently replayable, so this does not make the pages atomic.

Validation

• all-feature library gate: 695 passed, 33 ignored; two load-sensitive deadline tests passed on exact isolated reruns
• replica state transfer suite: 9 passed, 2 ignored
• replica restart recovery suite: 19 passed, 3 ignored
• exact eight-page journal sync and restart recovery test passed
• added-lines, account-name, publication-text, and commit scrub gates clean
