While a page is busy (the MD5 check of a Samsung firmware, an extraction), its list is disabled, and the Windows theme's own ListView template paints a disabled list white with grey text.
The ListView style now has its own template: the same GridView scroll viewer and header row, and a disabled list is only dimmed. Every ListView in the app has a GridView, so all of them pick it up.
