Why
Release PRs are pushed by release-please with
GITHUB_TOKEN, so the requiredBuild & Testchecks never run on them and they are merged by hand with admin bypass.Changes
release.yml: newmerge-release-prjob, only on the scheduled run. It finds the openautorelease: pendingPR, dispatchesbuild-test.ymlon its branch (dispatch is allowed withGITHUB_TOKEN), waits for the required checks, squash-merges with--match-head-commit, then dispatchesrelease.ymlonmainto tag and publish.Pushes to
mainstill only update the release PR; the weekly run ships it. Merging the release PR by hand keeps working as before.
