Adds a "Build CometChat Apps with Lovable" guide under the new AI-Driven Development section.

Stacked on #541. This PR targets #541's branch (docs/agent-native-development), because the AI-Driven Development section only exists there. Its diff is just the Lovable commit. Merge #541 first; GitHub then retargets this PR to main.

What's in it

  • New page lovable.mdx: how to connect the CometChat Docs MCP to Lovable as a custom MCP chat connector.
    • Steps: Connectors → + → MCP server. Name CometChat Docs, URL https://mcp.cometchat.com/mcp, No authentication, Direct connection.
    • Test and build prompts, plus the note that chat connections in Lovable are personal (each person connects it themselves).
    • A warning that the Auth Key is dev-only, linking to User Authentication.
    • What Lovable can read: the three read-only tools, linking to MCP Integration.
  • docs.json: adds lovable to the AI-Driven Development group, after MCP Integration.
  • mcp-server.mdx: a short "Lovable" entry under "Connect from your agent", linking to the new page.

Verified

  • Lovable's steps follow its own docs: Connect a custom MCP server. Custom MCP servers are available on all plans.
  • The live docs MCP accepts connections without authentication (initialize → serverInfo "CometChat Docs" 0.1.6).
  • The test prompt ("how do I install the CometChat React UI Kit?") returns the React UI Kit overview as the first result.
  • Build: mint validate shows only the warnings main already has. The page renders in the local preview, and its links resolve.

Not tested: the flow inside Lovable itself, which needs a Lovable account.

Docs review

Verdict: approve, with two small content fixes worth making before merge.

Additive PR, nothing moved or deleted, so no redirect exposure. Every nav ref and internal link resolves. The Lovable UI steps match Lovable's own custom MCP doc. One factual issue: a tool count copied from the MCP page that no longer matches the live server. Stacked on #541, which is still open, so that merges first.

What passed

  • Build is safe: 0 unresolved nav refs. lovable resolves to lovable.mdx.
  • Redirects: 0 removed/renamed files, so the +0 redirect delta is expected.
  • Links: 0 broken internal links in changed files. /fundamentals/user-auth, /mcp-server, /lovable all exist on the branch.
  • Frontmatter matches the four sibling pages in the group, including canonical.
  • Lovable claims verified: Connectors → + → MCP server; greyed out means an admin disabled it; Direct connection; No authentication; Add server; connections are per-user; available on all plans; "project chat and in Chats".
  • Connector URL accepts unauthenticated connections (confirmed with a live initialize call).

P1 — should fix

  • Stale tool count in the new page. lovable.mdx:68 says the Docs MCP exposes "three read-only tools". A live tools/list returns four: search_cometchat_docs, fetch_cometchat_doc_page, get_cometchat_implementation_bundle, list_cometchat_bundles. The same count lives in the "Three tools" heading at mcp-server.mdx:96 (pre-existing), but this PR copies it into a new page. Suggest dropping the number on the Lovable page ("a small set of read-only tools"), or updating both pages to four and adding a card for list_cometchat_bundles.

P2 — nits

  • Misplaced heading in mcp-server.mdx. The new ### Lovable section (line 90) sits after ## Example prompts, so the TOC shows Lovable as a child of Example prompts rather than of "Connect from your agent", where the PR description says it belongs. Move the block to just after the VS Code section, above ## Example prompts.
  • Step order differs from Lovable's form. Lovable's form is Name → Connection → URL → Authentication; the page puts URL before the Connection note. Harmless since the Connection dropdown only appears for some workspaces, but matching Lovable's order would reduce friction.

FYI, inherited from #541, not this PR

  • The whole "AI-Driven Development" tab is "hidden": true in docs.json, so this page is reachable only by direct URL and search until that flag is removed.
  • /fundamentals/webhooks-overview is an orphan not in navigation. Unrelated to this PR.

@ketanyekale thanks, all three fixed in this push:

  • P1, tool count: confirmed with a live tools/list: four tools, all readOnlyHint: true.
    • Lovable page: now lists all four.
    • mcp-server.mdx: the heading is now Four tools (all read-only), with a list_cometchat_bundles card (grid changed to 2 columns).
    • The "Ten curated implementation bundles" count in the same section is still correct: a live list_cometchat_bundles call returns 10.
  • P2, heading placement: ### Lovable now sits after the VS Code section and above ## Example prompts, under "Connect from your agent".
  • P2, step order: now Name → Connection → URL → Authentication. The "keep Direct connection" note moved into the Name step, just before the URL.

On the FYI about the hidden tab: it's intentional. These pages were meant to come out of the product dropdown, which lists products only. People reach them from the new AI-Driven Development section on the home page, and once on any of them, the sidebar shows the whole group: Agent Skills, CLI, MCP Integration, Migrate to CometChat and Lovable. Search finds them too. That's the same setup "Developer Tools" had before.

… form step order

- The live Docs MCP exposes four read-only tools (adds list_cometchat_bundles);
fix the count on both pages and add the missing card
- Move the Lovable section above Example prompts so it sits under
  "Connect from your agent"
- Match Lovable's form order: Name, Connection, URL, Authentication
