Use an illustrated mascot for entity: a pink beet at the bottom of an identity-card photo, with its hands resting across the lower frame as if ready to climb out, matching the established btravstack beet family. Apply the light/dark artwork to the README, documentation navigation and hero; provide a simplified favicon, a grayscale print variant that retains the shading, and a matching 1200 × 630 social card. Provenance links the editable canonical sources.

No package or release configuration changes.

Validation before the asset-only illustration revision: pnpm format --check, pnpm lint, pnpm typecheck, pnpm knip and pnpm build passed. Visually checked navigation and hero marks in both themes; verified copied assets match build output and favicon/social URLs use /entity/. The existing TypeDoc RejectWidenedBoolean warning and Knip configuration hint remain.

pnpm test was run twice: all other suites passed, but the unchanged billing-relational example exceeded its 10-second PGlite beforeEach timeout in the first test (the other eight relational tests passed). No production or test code is changed by this PR.

CI before the asset-only illustration revision: build, bundle size, format, lint, type check, Knip and all test jobs passed. Security Audit fails on the existing @changesets/cli > launch-editor > shell-quote dependency (GHSA-pqg4-j6r4-53mv); this PR changes no dependencies or lockfile.
The additional isolated local test attempt was stopped after it remained in PGlite setup for over two minutes; the complete CI test matrix passed without any test changes.

Illustrated artwork validation: rebuilt both TypeDoc and VitePress documentation, checked formatting and whitespace, verified SVG XML and canonical/source/build asset parity, checked the 1200 × 630 social dimensions, and visually inspected the new social cards. No production or test code changed in this revision.

Photo-frame detail validation: SVGs and social card copied from the canonical website assets; XML, source/build byte parity, formatting and whitespace checks passed, and VitePress rebuilt using the existing generated API. Visually checked the social card showing the mascot’s hands resting over the bottom photo edge.

Copilot review overview

🟡 Changes recommended

The new branding doc claims the favicon has a solid background, but the committed favicon.svg is transparent, so either the documentation or the copied asset needs correcting.

What changed in this PR

This PR refreshes the entity project branding to adopt the shared btravstack family mark. It replaces the previous hand-drawn "beet on a record" logos with a simplified square badge (128×128) across the README, VitePress navigation/hero, and favicon, adds monochrome and favicon variants plus a provenance doc, and corrects the Open Graph social-image dimensions to match the committed 1200×630 PNG. It is documentation/asset-only with no production or test code changes.

Changes:

  • Replaced logo.svg, logo-light.svg, logo-dark.svg and added logo-mono.svg + favicon.svg with the new square mark; pointed the site favicon at favicon.svg.
  • Updated README/hero/nav alt text ("entity logo") and README image to square 128×128 dimensions.
  • Corrected og:image:width/height to 1200/630 (verified against the committed og-entity.png) and added docs/branding/README.md documenting the regeneration/provenance process.
File Description
README.md Updates the hero image alt text and switches to square 128×128 dimensions matching the new mark.
docs/public/logo.svg Replaces the old mark with the new square badge (default/light).
docs/public/logo-light.svg Replaces the old wide logo with the new square light mark.
docs/public/logo-dark.svg Replaces the old wide logo with the new square dark-theme mark.
docs/public/logo-mono.svg Adds a monochrome variant of the new mark.
docs/public/favicon.svg Adds a dedicated favicon variant (thicker stroke).
docs/index.md Updates the hero image alt text to "entity logo".
docs/branding/README.md New provenance doc describing brand source and asset mapping.
docs/.vitepress/config.ts Adds logo alt, points favicon at favicon.svg, and fixes OG image dimensions to 1200×630.

P1 Badge Add a changeset for the public branding refresh

This commit changes the publicly deployed documentation branding, README logo, favicon, and social preview but includes no changeset, so it violates the repository's requirement that user-facing changes carry one and leaves the release tooling without a record of the update.

P2 Badge Point branding source links at existing files

The two regeneration-source links introduced in this document currently return 404: the public website repository has neither the linked top-level scripts/generate-brand.mjs nor branding/social-card.html path. As a result, maintainers following these instructions cannot reach either editable source; update both links to their actual repository locations.

P2 Badge Use the simplified portrait asset for the favicon

At normal 16×16 browser-tab size, this favicon will be difficult to recognize because it is the complete identity-card illustration rather than the documented simplified portrait: after normalizing the gradient IDs, favicon.svg is identical to logo-light.svg, including the card, text lines, border, and badge. The beet portrait occupies only about five horizontal pixels once rasterized, while several strokes become subpixel details; replace this with the actual portrait-only favicon asset.
