Paid reads are metered usage. A Premium read uses credits from your plan, then your on-demand budget, which you set in the dashboard and which is the approval. This PR makes the hand-written copy say that.

What changes

  • README, CHANGELOG and llms.txt.
  • CHANGELOG: a 0.4.1 entry, and the 0.4.0 entry reworded in place.
  • Version 0.4.1 in VERSION, src/arcmira/_package.py (which pyproject.toml reads) and the User-Agent in core/client_wrapper.py (the values scripts/generate.sh writes from VERSION).

Not in this PR

The SDK is not regenerated. fern/openapi.json, the generated src/arcmira/** docstrings and reference.md wait for the backend PR that changes the OpenAPI descriptions; regenerate after it deploys.

Remaining git grep -i -w -E 'buys?|buying|bought|purchase[sd]?|purchasing|prepare[sd]?' hits outside generated code:

  • CHANGELOG 0.3.0 entries: released history naming 0.3's own API (transcripts.request, prepare_and_wait).
  • scripts/prepare-openapi.py, generate.sh, tests/test_generation.py: the prepare() step that prepares the OpenAPI document, not a transcript.
  • LICENSE: Apache-2.0 text.

Checks

  • uv run python -m unittest discover -s tests: 24 tests OK.
  • uv build: built arcmira-0.4.1.tar.gz and arcmira-0.4.1-py3-none-any.whl.
  • scripts/check-commit-identity.sh: every commit zealous1 and signed.

Do not merge, tag or publish yet.
