Experiment on top of the plurl branch: the framework now registers its URL handling with plurl instead of reflectively clearing the java.net.URL static fields, so this checks what a JDK past 25 makes of it. Temurin 26 is GA (26.0.2.1), so this uses the GA build rather than an early access one. Left failing rather than marked continue-on-error, since the point is to see the failure. Two separate gates kept this experiment from running at all: - The push and pull_request triggers filter on module paths, and a change to the workflow itself matched none of them, so nothing fired. - Every build step is gated on its paths-filter output, so even once triggered the jobs would have run and built nothing. So '.github/workflows/**' is added to both trigger path lists, and to the framework filter, which already covers framework.tck. A CI change that CI cannot verify is not much of a CI change. Closing: experiment done, result recorded on #552. The framework and OSGi Core R8 TCK pass on JDK 26 and 27 as well as 17/21/23/25, so there is no regression above the 25 that branch targets. Not merging the matrix change itself — 26 and 27 belong in the matrix once the branch lands, not from an experiment branch. The |
