Docker Compose configuration for deploying Weblate with the services required for a complete self-hosted setup.

Detailed documentation is available in Weblate documentation:

Clone the docker-compose repository:
git clone https://github.com/WeblateOrg/docker-compose.git cd docker-composeCreate a
docker-compose.override.ymlfile with your settings.services: weblate: ports: - 80:8080 environment: WEBLATE_SITE_DOMAIN: example.com WEBLATE_EMAIL_HOST: smtp.example.com WEBLATE_EMAIL_HOST_USER: user WEBLATE_EMAIL_HOST_PASSWORD: pass WEBLATE_ALLOWED_HOSTS: your hosts WEBLATE_ADMIN_PASSWORD: password for admin user
Start it up:
docker compose up

When WEBLATE_IP_PROXY_HEADER=HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR is enabled, list the IP
addresses, networks, or hostnames of the reverse proxies which can connect to
Weblate in WEBLATE_TRUSTED_PROXY_ADDRESSES. Separate multiple values by
whitespace. The built-in nginx uses this list to determine the client address
for its logs and forwards only that normalized address to Weblate. If the list
is empty, the immediate TCP peer is used. Because nginx forwards a single
normalized address, the container uses an effective
WEBLATE_IP_PROXY_OFFSET of 0 in this mode.
Do not expose the Weblate container ports through a path which bypasses the listed proxies.
