I'm a systems software and network engineer who is drawn to hard problems. I enjoy going deep, understanding how things work from the hardware and protocols up, and building solutions that hold up under real conditions.

  • 馃敡 Building: Wi-Fi Range Extender:
    • Trying to implement a mini WiFi range extender and signal repeater in a resource constrained environment (4KB flash Microcontroller)
    • Designed a custom framing protocol over SPI for reliable inter-chip streaming with flow control
    • Sized buffers and clock rate against the bandwidth-delay product so SPI never bottlenecked the wireless link
    • Sustained 4KB/s across 3 concurrent links for hours before overheating
    • Still imporving on it though
  • 馃寪 Networking: TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, tunneling
  • 馃尡 Learning: Rust and highly concurrent systems
  • 鈾燂笍 Fun fact: top chess player in my country
