Incremental backfill: --since/--until, reruns add only the new final days, interrupted runs resume without appending a day twice, and a lock refuses a second concurrent run on the same file. history.changeRows() exposes the opening state, and the README says how to refetch a range. Moves the Unreleased CHANGELOG section to 8.4.0 (2026-09-29) and bumps package.json, package-lock.json and PACKAGE_VERSION in src/client.ts.
