1. Core Mechanics & Eligibility

• The Bounty: Earn $1.00 USD for every GitHub issue you successfully solve, merge into the main/default branch, and close.
• "$1" Label Requirement: Only issues explicitly marked with the "$1" label (or designated as a $1 bounty issue) qualify for the reward. Issues without this specific marker are excluded.
• One at a Time: You can only actively work on one issue at a time. Multitasking or pulling multiple issues simultaneously is strictly prohibited.
• Assignment Mandatory: You must be explicitly assigned to the GitHub issue before writing any code. Unassigned PRs will not qualify.

2. Step-by-Step Workflow

1. Browse & Claim: Look through the repository for open issues labeled "$1". Comment on the issue you want to tackle to request assignment.
2. Get Assigned: Wait until @jbampton officially assigns the issue to your GitHub handle.
3. Develop: Create a dedicated feature branch for that specific issue.
4. Submit PR: Open a Pull Request referencing the issue (e.g., Closes #XX).
5. Review & Merge: Pass any required checks/code reviews. Once the PR is successfully merged into the main branch, your $1 is officially unlocked!

3. Quality & Conduct Guidelines

• No Spam / Low-Effort PRs: Trivial changes created solely to farm bounties (like fixing a single typo or whitespace adjustments) on "$1" issues will be closed without payout at the maintainer's discretion.
• Stale Issues: If you are assigned to an issue but show no progress or commits for 7 days without a heads-up, the assignment may be revoked and handed to someone else.
• Clean Code: PRs must follow the repository's contribution guidelines, pass automated CI tests (if applicable), and maintain code quality.
