Desktop system for meteorological surface observations, offline-first, built on WMO Manual No. 306 (FM 12 SYNOP).
  • Synoptic observation of the eight synoptic hours with the 24 9Sp groups and the psychrometric and pressure calculations, validated against the station workbook.
  • Climate sheets (CLI 3074 / 4074 / 5074), monthly summary with Excel export, and an audit module that marks and corrects errors per field, closes the day's review and reports errors per observer with rates and PDF output.

  • Lead the digital transformation of the national synoptic observation process — modernizing how weather data is captured, validated and archived across the meteorological network.
  • Built internal tooling (PHP + XAMPP) to digitize event-hall reservations and other operational workflows.

Freelance & Personal Projects   Ongoing

  • OMS — the meteorological observation platform described above, in active development.
  • Synop Excel → JSON — a Python pipeline that ingests the raw Excel observation workbook and emits structured JSON for downstream analytics, including the migration of the historical archive (2,554 files) into a versioned document model.
