init-socraticode with STORE=external, in broker's shape at the same version (broker#17, broker#33):

• .socraticode.json: projectId: processor; linkedProjects ../archiver, ../broker, ../notifier, ../replicator, ../watcher (relative). Same commit as the env block.
• .claude/settings.json: the six-variable client env block + SOCRATICODE_SPEC=socraticode@1.16.0 (operator decision 2026-10-10); reminder and health SessionStart hooks, symlinked into skills-vendor/ by install-hook.sh (its --check passes for both).
• .socraticodeignore: vendored skill trees (skills/brainstorming is an upstream copy, so skills/ goes whole), .worktrees/, .claude/worktrees/, .wheelhouse, docs/plans/ (dated prose; still searchable as the implementation-plans context artifact).
• .socraticodecontextartifacts.json: 9 artifacts; validate-manifest OK.
• AGENTS.md policy block (variant A; Phase 6's yield gate may send it to B), docs/SOCRATICODE.md (template + repo notes), a paragraph in DEPLOYMENT.md's Node section.
• tests/test_socraticode_config.py: no QDRANT_COLLECTION_PREFIX / SOCRATICODE_BRANCH_AWARE / SOCRATICODE_PROJECT_ID / QDRANT_HOST in any env source; settings.local.json ignored by the tracked .gitignore (git check-ignore -v); no key in the committed settings; the store never addressed without projectId: processor; the cohort client env; the exact pin, and on this VM the driver pin agreeing with it; index scope; manifest; hooks.

Memory decision: no MemoryLow=, so no deploy

Preflight: cgroup2 is mounted without memory_recursiveprot and system.slice grants none, so MemoryLow= on processor.service would be inert without a host system.slice drop-in. And the threat is OOM, not reclaim: the unit already has OOMScoreAdjust=-500 (~64 MiB resident), and each child volunteers at +1000. The pin removes the npm-at-session-start peak. Recorded in docs/SOCRATICODE.md.

Known consequence

A 1.14.0 client (watcher, replicator, archiver, notifier) that links codebase_processor reads zero rows from it without an error (notifier#72). No sibling links processor today.

Not in this PR (host + operator, after merge)

Capped pre-install of the pin; marketplace and plugin; link stubs under /home/exedev/; session restart; the Qdrant key (operator); the capped index from the main checkout; then verify Qdrant mode: external, the server's command line, a processor search, and includeLinked results from each sibling (1.14.0-format collections read by a 1.16.0 client: stated, not yet verified).
